Now that we have moved back into our home, Eric and I wanted to thank you for the wonderful assistance you gave our family during our time of turmoil. We are almost at the anniversary of the fire, and we are happy that this event is behind us. This letter is long overdue, but you have been on our minds!

From the moment your company arrived on the scene of the fire (Sandra and her aides), we were amazed at both the efficiency and accuracy and care your people gave our property. Within hours the house was emptied and cataloged. (We still can see Dow staff on cardboard, outside, picking up glass from the windows and steps.)

Of all your wonderful employees, Sandra in particular was extremely sensitive to the trauma involved. Not once did your company of Sandra disappoint us. Every item that could be restored was carefully cleaned and packaged, and labeled. Every item that was lost was carefully logged. If I needed an item in the interim period before we moved back, Sandra could find it--even a parsley cutter for the kitchen, and never with a complaint! And even those things that may have gone wrong, like a mattress tear, were all cleaned and repaired before I even knew something had gone wrong. Every detail was taken care of from the cleaning, loss list, through our two moves and packaging and returning of items to our home and retrieval of boxes.

We were truly impressed and thankful to have your company and staff and Sandra with us through this period. Of all the professionals and subcontractors we came in contact with during the restoration process your company and staff stand out like no other organization.

Many thanks to you and your wonderful staff. Have a Wonderful, Happy and Successful New Year. You have truly helped our family and for that we will always be appreciative.

Dear Elaine:

Thank you and Farmers for the quick response to my fire damage yesterday. This saga began yesterday at 12:40pm with my arrival to a smoke filled home. What a shock! I called 911 and the fire department was here within 5 minutes and after an hour had things under control. I then called you and apprised you of the problem and you gave me the 800 number for Farmers. That person put me in touch with Susan Burns of the Tigard office. Susan made quick work of the situation and before long the Dow Columbia people were here putting in high powered fans to help clear the air and checking the damage. That was all taken care of in about 3 hours. Your call at 4:30 was much appreciated. Everyone has been very caring and helpful. Amazing!!!

Susan and I made plans for her and the Dow people to meet here at 9:00am this morning. Absolutely right on time! Once again reassurance and concern for our safety and comfort. Susan and the Dow people took pictures, measurements and made plans for the restoration. By 11:00am today the Dow crew had arrived and started the cleaning process.

Although the restoration is far from complete, I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate all that has been done and the quick response by everyone involved. I have complete faith that my home will be back together before long. Thanks for all you have done. You are working for a great organization.
