Dear
Mr. Dow:
The card that I filled out does not adequately
express my admiration for the efficiency
of your company.
I had gone to a meeting on a Friday morning.
When I came home about 9:00am, my wife was
in tears. She had left the water running
in the washtub to take some phone calls,
forgot about it, and it overflowed. The
washtub is adjacent to the kitchen. There
was water all over the kitchen, although
my wife had wiped most of it up when I got
home. she was unaware that the water had
seeped through the floor and had flowed
into our office in the basement. I feared
the damage was extensive. I called my insurance
agent, he called the adjuster, and the adjuster
must have called Dow Columbia. Your people
were here by mid-afternoon and had blowers
and dryers and everything set up before
they left. They were amazingly efficient.
They were very courteous. I left for Washington,
DC the next day. They left the equipment
all weekend. By Monday everything seemed
dry. We could not have asked for better
service.
Congratulations.
Sincerely,
Bob Packwood
